At the beginning of 2015, my Ph.D. advisor, Prof. Dr. Gregor Eberli asked if i wanted to be part of the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) Expedition 359: Maldives Monsoon and Sea Level. Without second thoughts, I agreed and this page started to document the journey I will have onboard the JOIDES Resolution with an international group of scientists! Our time aboard will start from 1st October 2015 to 30 November 2015.
For all you technology savvy homo sapiens don’t forget to follow the JOIDES Resolution on FaceBook and Twitter during our expedition. I will do my best to update my blog whenever we have access to our World Wide Web system through our VSAT.
